Hair loss is a common problem that everyone faces at one point. It can affect both men and women. While genes play a vital role, there are usually other reasons as well, including, hormonal imbalance, an under-active thyroid gland, nutritional deficiencies and insufficient blood circulation in the scalp. Shedding hair can be one of the major reasons for shedding self-confidence. Our current lifestyle makes us even more prone to the problem like hair fall, which ultimately leads to greater concern such as hair loss.
But sometimes visiting a dermatologist can be expensive. Hair fall treatments and products can be expensive too. Hair masks are effective for improving your hair conditions but some of them are very costly. And they are full chemical ingredients that may damage your hair even more. So here is the solution to this problem. Make your own hair mask at home. It’s very cheap, simple, easy and effective. You can make these hair masks easily at home by using natural ingredients available in your kitchen.
1.Oil and Aloe Vera mask
You need at least three different types of oil. The choice is up to you. You can use coconut, almond, olive oil or castor oil. And some Aloe vera gel. Just take a bowl and mix equal proportions of all the oils and add Aloe vera gel to make it a good paste. And then mix it very well. Apply this mixture on the scalp of your head and leave it for 5-6 hours. And then wash your hair.
Aloe vera contains enzymes which repair dead skin cells on the scalp. It also acts as a great conditioner and leaves your hair all smooth and shiny. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair.
2.Yogurt and Fuller’s earth mask
You only need some yoghurt and fuller’s earth to make this mask. Just mix these two in a bowl to make a paste. And apply this mixture for 2-3 hours. And then wash your hair. Yogurt is among the best ingredients you could use for conditioning your hair while honey helps seal the moisture in your hair.
3.Onion and coconut oil mask
You need one big onion and some organic coconut oil. Grate the onion and take out its juice in a bowl and add two tablespoons of coconut oil in it. And mix it really well. And apply this mask on the scalp and leave it for 4 -5 hours. And then shampoo your hair. Onion is rich in sulphur. This mineral is one of the main building blocks of hair. It improves blood circulation and provides the hair follicles with sufficient nourishment. Onion also has anti-bacterial properties, so it helps with scalp infections that might contribute to hair loss.
4.Indian Gooseberry
Mix one tablespoon each of Indian gooseberry pulp and lemon juice. Massage your scalp with the mixture thoroughly. Cover your hair with a shower cap. Leave it on overnight and shampoo your hair in the morning. For natural and fast hair growth, you can use Indian gooseberry which is rich in vitamin C, of which a deficiency in the body can cause hair loss.
